- ByteCatcher can shut down Windows after you finish downloading all selected files.
- Connecting is non blocking and will retry as many times as you like.
- If disconnected Bytecatcher will remember to continue downloading all selected files.
- If you stop and continue a download will remember to continue downloading all selected files.
- There are more setup options.
There is a problem when ByteCatcher tries to re-start downloading a file from a Microsoft FTP Server (version 1-3). Microsoft does not support a command which has been in the FTP Request For Comments for many years. I have tested the program on 5 third party FTP Servers running on Windows NT and they all work fine.
Most file servers on the Internet run on Unix systems and there are no problems with these systems. If anyone is running a file server on NT and wants a great FTP server that supports re-starting file transfers let me know.
This is a 15 day trial, you will then need to register. Please read the register.txt file.
